Review by hotel critic
I recently had the opportunity to stay at Laur Hotels Experience & Elegance, and I came away with mixed feelings about the overall value it offers. As an adventure travel blogger from Melbourne, I typically lean towards places that provide both comfort and adventure, so my expectations were quite high. The staff were generally exceptional. From the moment we arrived, their attentiveness was noticeable, and they were friendly throughout our stay. The room was comfortable, equipped with a mini-bar and a flat-screen TV, but I found the location a bit challenging if you're facing mobility limitations, which is something to think about. The dining options were a highlight, with outstanding bakery and patisserie choices. I did find the range of healthy food options lacking, which is something I often look for when on the go. That said, the seasonal outdoor pool and access to a private beach added to the leisurely experience, blending relaxation with adventure opportunities. While Laur Hotels brings luxury to the table, I urge potential guests to weigh this against their budget. It's a good spot, but for the price, one must consider if the luxury meets their personal travel needs and financial comfort.
